ATV flown covers.

Total 1200 such covers were delivered to the ISS by ATV Jules Verne.

ATV – Automated Transfer Vehicle (unmanned supply spacecraft).
The covers traveled the following way:
• In October 2007 they were put into the CTB#1449 at Thales Alenia Space plant (Italy) in order to fly with the ATV Jules Verne up to the ISS. CTB – Cargo Transfer Bag.
• In early December 2007 the CTB#1449 was put on board the ATV.

Satellites launch from India.
On September 23, 2009 India successfully launched a booster rocket to orbit the country's 16th remote sensing satellite and six European nano satellites. The launch was performed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) was launched at 11:50 local time (06:20 UTC) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on the island of Sriharikota. It is the vehicle's 16th launch since September 1993.
The Oceansat-2 is to be orbited 720 km above the Earth. The 960 kg satellite is designed to help identify potential fishing zones, and measure atmospheric temperature and humidity.
Of the 15 remote sensing satellites India has so far launched, nine are still in operation, including the Oceansat-1, which was put into orbit in 1999.

Progress M-67 undocking from the ISS.

On September 21 the Russian “Progress M-67” unmanned supply spacecraft successfully undocked from the International Space Station.

Progress M-67, the last Russian cargo spacecraft with an analogue control system, arrived at the orbital station on July 29, bringing 2.5 tons of supplies to the ISS, including fuel, water and various equipment.

Black Brant XII Sounding Rocket launch.

A rocket experiment that may shed light on the highest clouds in the Earth’s atmosphere was conducted from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on September 19, 2009. The experiment was launched on a NASA Black Brant XII Sounding Rocket.

Successful Berthing of the HTV at the ISS.

On September 18, 2009 the Demonstration Flight H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) was successfully berthed at the International Space Station (ISS) at 10:49 a.m. Japan Standard Time, JST (on September 17 at 22:49 UTC).
The HTV started its final approach to the ISS, and was captured by the ISS robotic arm at 4:51 a.m. on September 18 (JST). Then at 10:49 a.m. on September 18 (JST,) the HTV was berthed at the ISS after being maneuvered by the ISS robotic arm (Canadarm). The Canadarm was controlled by Canadian astronaut

Launch from Baykonur Cosmodrome.

On September 17, 2009 the Russian “Soyuz – 2.1b” rocket-carrier was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The “Meteor-M” meteorological satellite and five mini-satellites were delivered to orbit. Meteor-M weighs about 2,700 kilograms (6,000 lbs) and has a service life of five years.
